Introduction: We have an extremely happy local client base. Both the parents AND their dogs love coming to our home to stay. How do we know they're happy? Just bring your dog back in a couple of days and see how he reacts to pulling up in front of the establishment. Or have your sitter come out to see how he reacts to your sitter. There's never any doubt as to whether your dog is happy to be someplace or not. Dogs who stay with us are so happy to be with us, they've pulled leashes out of their parents hands to hurry and get into our backyard; or practically jump out of the window to hurry up and see us. That is why the parents of dogs who stay with us are extremely happy! Plus they know the dogs will be safe, since they're never outside in the yard unless we're with them.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Regular day care is $35 a day. Overnight care is $45 a day. Add $5 a day for holiday weeks. For partial day we charge $5 an hour to a maximum of your daily fee.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We stay with your animal 24/7. Your dog is allowed on the sofa and will have someone to sleep with. Your dog will be treated as if our home is his/her home, but better than their home, your dog will have lots of little doggies his size to play with if he/she so chooses. Every time someone pulls up with their dog, their dog can't wait to get into our back yard to see which of his friends are here. They're always happy to be at our home!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Meet the provider in person and ask for references in advance. You can tell a lot about your new pet sitter just by meeting them at their home. Watch how they greet your pet for the first time. Your pet generally knows whether the pet sitter loves animals or not. There are specific skills an animal lover will know when saying hi to you and your dog. A good pet sitter will never grab at a new dog -- he or she will get down to your dog's level, call your dog by name, put out open hands, and allow your dog to come to them, calling your dog by name. That way your dog doesn't get frightened, and no human gets bit.
