Dear Mark,
Thanks so much for all your help! I honestly don't know what I would have done with Allie, had you not offered to train her. We had already attended one 6 week sesion puppy class, from which she never received her certifaicate of completion due to poor behavior and I was actively pursuing other training options to suit her needs when you contacted me to offer your services. As a lifetime animal lover/owner and even as an employee of a corporation that focuses on shelter animals, owner retention and public education, it was baffling to me how such a small, young puppy could possibly possess so many anxiety and alpha dominant related issues.
I had adopted Allie from the shelter at 5 months old. Within a month of bringing her home she began to exprss dominance over my other dog, as well as acted extremely aggressive towards any dog she would see in the street and lunge at them if they passed by while on a walk. She would hoard and guard all the yous and attack Otis if he attempted to cross the line of bones she set up in front of her crate. It began to feel like we were taking 2 steps back for every step forward we would arrempt. I had no idea females even marked their territory... But she earned her nickname, "The Urinator."
Over the past two months that you've been working with Allie, the dramatic difference in her behavior has been incredible. The tips and tricks you've taught me work well and get great response from not only Allie , but Otis as well. You've given me the knowledge to communicate and work with Allie on a much different level. She has become more obedient, loving and playful with me, Otis and even other dogs.
Furthermore, you've cured her aggressive urination issue. Allie no longer urnates on things to make them hers, nor does she go to the bathroom in the house. She can be trusted to behave when I'm not home and I no longer dread coming home from work to deal with an "Allie surprise."
So thank you again for your patience, your time and expertise. Most of all, you took the time to evaluate and truly understand Allie's behavior, before deciding upon the proper method of correction. You've turned my relationship with Allie into a great one and made all our lives at home a pleasant place to be once angain!!! THANK YOU!!!
Best aways,
Michael

Mark Tipton is a wonderful trainer. He worked with me and my puppy, Maddox, and I saw amazing results in how my dog behaved and how he responded to me. I adopted Maddox at 6 months old and "high energy dog" is an understatement. Maddox was a strong, defiant, alpha male. Mark helped me break Matty of his bad habits (chewing, jumping, digging to name a few) He taught Matty several commands and he taught me to be the leader.
Mark's love for animals shines through everthing he does. Their well-being and happiness are his first priority. And he's committed to helping his clients bond with their pets, effectively making loving, rewarding relationships. I can't say recommend Mark enough. And I thank him for his hard work and support. Matty sends his love and lots of kisses too!

Mark did an amazing job training our puppy and our family on a variety of behavior and skills. His program taught each family member how to work with our dog with fast results. We definitely recommend Mark as a trainer and will call him for any needs we have in the future.

Excellent in every respect. Mark is a patient and calm trainer who understands his students (canine and human). He does not use threats or force; instead, he engages the dog in the "game" of learning and, not surprisingly, the dog enjoys the process. I highly recommend Mark Tipton for your own sake as well as for your dog's.

A. Always use a Positive Reinforcement Trainer. Ask about their training methods. Are they a certified trainer or self taught. Ask for references.
A. Only say the cue once. If you keep saying the cue over and over again the dog thinks she hasn't said it 6 times and raised her voice yet, theres 6 now I will sit.
A. Are you a Positive Reinforcement Trainer? Do you use treats? If no keep looking. What training methods do you use? What equiptment do you use?
