- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Does the person hold any Certifications? Can they provide references? Is the work to be done clearly explained before hand? Does the vendor take the time to explain both the upside and downside to the work you want done? Does your IT provider give you choices on how to solve your problem? A lot of times people hire out IT without really understanding what they want or even need. Often they can save themselves time and money by talking to the IT provider about what they ultimately want to accomplish, instead of pre-deciding on a solution and hiring someone to accomplish that solution.
