- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you are on the same page. Is the photographer a studio type, who may like glossy, overproduced photos? Will they work with you on the look you are going for and recommend certain looks or recommend against some looks? In general, I believe the headshot should still be YOU, with the look suggesting the type you are fit for, ie, cop, teacher, girl next door, etc. I prefer natural light to bring things down to earth, so to speak. But you may be looking for something else. Have a chat with your prospective shooter.
