Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. If you're looking to hire a house cleaning service, it is important to always ask if they know how to properly use all cleaning liquids. The worse is having an abrasive cleaner on stainless steel appliances!
Also, if you're allergic to certain chemicals, make sure to ask your provider not to use those chemicals. Some customers like certain "clean" aromas, but others not so much.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Anyone can say they "clean" houses - and many services do that. But, try to find a provider who goes the "extra mile." A service should offer perks, or what we (Juanita's House Cleaning) call "details." In every appointment we will go ahead and clean something that is not written out in our "tasks" sheet. For example, we will clean light switches, door frames, window frames, fan blades, etc.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. "Do you guarantee your work?" is a must-ask question for consumers when hiring any service professional. Anyone can claim they're "the best," but only the best actually put their money where their mouth is. At Juanita's House Cleaning we guarantee our work in a couple of ways: 1) we have a three-day inspection period. Find anything we missed within three days of the cleaning service and we will go back to re-do it. 2) If, after we've "re-done" anything that was missed and you're still not satisfied, we will refund your payment.
