As your family photographer, I am there to meet your family’s photographic needs throughout the years, specializing in studio and outside portraits, including senior portraits, weddings, events, including proms, and all of the important moments of your life.
At weddings and special events, I offer a "photo booth" that is like having a studio there for your family and friends to have fun and get some great portraits. I tell your story through my photography, and custom design photo books.
For the holidays, I take your family portraits and custom design a one-of-a-kind card just for you. But what about those times that it is not possible to have me there? I also teach photography and photo processing to the layperson, including children (no previous knowledge needed), and before you know it, you'll be shooting like a pro.
Other services I provide are photos that will make your listings stand out from all the other houses on the market and products for websites.

Bonnie has a tremendous influence with my Hooper Camera customers. We have referred several of our valued customers to her for one on one photography training. I have heard praises from my customers after working with Bonnie.
I have also had the pleasure of seeing Bonnie in action. She is a true professional photographer and seems to really make her subjects feel comfortable while taking their portrait photos. Especially working with children. I have personally seen some of Bonnie's photos, and I must say, I am very impressed with the quality of the photos. From the creative composition to the technical know how of exposure and camera settings, she has that special talent that sets her apart from the student to the professional photographer that she has become. I looking forward to working with Bonnie MeDermott Photography in the future. I highly recommend her professional services to everyone especially my valued customers at www.hoopercamera.com

Bonnie McDermott is professional, patient, and easy to work with. Our family holiday pictures always come out great and she even takes the time to erase all of my "age" lines, which I love!

A. When you are looking for a photographer there are some very important things to consider. I believe the most important is that you’re a good match. Do you love his/her work, is his/her style match your needs, do you like and trust him/her, and can you afford him/her? The last thing you want to do is pick a photographer and then try to fit them in to your mold of what you see as good photography. Keep looking until you find the right photographer for you because you will end up spending a surprising amount of time with him/her and you don't want to look back and wish you spent more time finding the right photographer.
A. As a customer I believe it is important to realize that photography is not a one shoe fits all. For my wedding (before I was a photographer) I hired my brother a wonderful photographer... artsy and newspaper photographer. He told me he hated to do weddings. I should have looked on for someone who loved to photograph weddings and was good at it. He did a good job but they did not have that "wedding" look that I now know I love. Which brings me to my second point...know what you like. If you don’t know what is out there then start looking at lots of photographers work. Find what makes you go wow.
A. Once you find a photographer that you love their work and do the type of photography that you need then you need to start asking questions. Are they available when you need them, how much will it cost, what is included for that price, refund policy...the basics? You will want to read some reviews or ask for references.
