East Bay Mobile Acupuncture is a unique Chinese medicine house call service providing alternative medicine to residents all over the East Bay. The mission of the company is to bring acupuncture to people who need it, when they need it.
I am committed to serving those who, for whatever reason, want or need their alternative health care to come right to their front door, and I do my best to make same-day appointments. I serve most of the East Bay region within a 15 to 20-mile radius of central Oakland, including Richmond, El Cerrito, Berkeley, Kensington, Orinda, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Oakland, and San Leandro.
Benefits of House Calls:
House calls have many advantages over the typical office visit:
* You won't have to waste any time traveling to your appointment or waiting in an office.
* You can receive treatment even when you don't feel well enough to leave the house.
* Appointments are not rushed, and therefore you receive the best quality care possible.
* You are treated in an environment of greater comfort, security, and confidentiality in your own home.
* You have one-on-one contact with your practitioner throughout the treatment.
Acupuncture is different from other methods of healing, in that it works by stimulating your body's natural ability to cure itself. Acupuncture can benefit a wide range of conditions, both mental as well as physical, including, but not limited to:
* back pain
* low back pain
* neck pain
* insomnia
* depression
* arthritis or joint problems
* colds, influenza and bronchitis
* musculoskeletal injuries
* PMS, gynecological disorders
* stroke rehabilitation
* post-operative or post-illness rehabilitation
* infertility
* migraines or headaches
* anxiety
* sciatica
* acne
* psoriasis
* eczema
* stress
* painful or irregular periods
* chronic fatigue
* immune system deficiency
* numbness or paralysis
I specialize in the treatment of injuries, sprains and strains, post-operative or post-illness rehabilitation, and pain management.
I am also available for in-office appointments in downtown San Francisco at 703 Market Street, #514, close to the Powell Street BART station. For office appointments, I am able to accept most insurance plans that cover acupuncture.

I’ve sprained my ankle many times before, but never had such a quick recovery. David, who is my neighbor, brought me a Chinese herbal poultice and packed it over the egg- sized ankle. By morning it was merely swollen and he applied it again along with three acupuncture needles. The pain went away quickly and I stayed off it as much as I could.
A month later you’d never know it happened.

A. Acupuncturists who travel to their patients' homes are rare. If I were looking for an acupuncturist to treat me in my own home, I would want to know that the person is skilled, compassionate, honest, ethical, and reliable. And of course, able to produce good treatment results.
A. First of all, I travel to my patients, which is not at all common in the acupuncture trade. I bring all equipment and even a treatment table with me. Because I concentrate on one person at a time, without having to rush from room to room, I am able to give my undivided attention to my clients. This allows me to make a careful and accurate diagnosis, to thoroughly discuss treatment options and plans with my client, and greatly improves the quality of care. This is health care the way it used to be, not the assembly line model!
