East Bay Paws Day Care & Boarding

Introduction: I have worked with a few different organizations, fostering and working as a kennel assistant and animal behaviorist. I handle large to small dogs, aggressive to abused dogs, from giving baths to clipping nails, grooming, kennel training, puppy training and much more. I have been working with dogs for over 15 years, and I enjoy it to the extreme! Boarding: As of right now, I board only four different dogs from four families at once. I believe that it's very important to give my clients the most attention needed as possible while their moms and dads are away! I love being able to give one-on-one attention. When dogs are placed in a new environment, it's very important to give them the most comfort possible and to make my home their home away from home! My focus is all on the dogs! I run my boarding business out of my single-family home, and it's comfortable, cozy, clean, and warm! I have a nice, small, gated, and safe backyard for some outdoor air, and I use my garage as a playroom for the dogs to run around in and lounge in! I strongly suggest to bring you and your pooch over for a short visit before deciding to to have me board your special furry friend! My services include the following: * 3 to 4 times a day of long walks * Dog parks (weather permitted) -- I enjoy Pt. Isabel Park, Richmond, CA * Cage free daily (unless for training purposes only) -- During the evening, I do crate them for safety at night. * Crate training * Leash training * Baths before going home; it's free of charge with a three-night stay or longer * Light grooming * Nail clipping * Free night if dropped off on the night before you leave, between the hours of 9 and 11 p.m. with a two-night stay or longer * Pickup or drop-off with an extra small fee in the East Bay Dogs with special needs are okay. Special instructions are okay, as well as medications. I send picture updates on how your pooch is doing daily through email or picture mail to your cell phone! (doggy cam soon) All dogs must be on flea medication at the time of visit. If we see fleas, we will give them a shampoo flea dip and apply advantage for an extra cost of $20.00, to keep our canines happy, healthy and clean of fleas. Boarding Prices: This includes full-day care and overnight stay (Holidays are the same prices; they never increase). We also offer long-term boarding! All dogs must be picked up by 7:00 p.m. on any given day; after 7 p.m., we do charge $10.00 per hour for additional care after 7 p.m. We have the following rates: * Extra large dogs -- $55.00 per day; second is $50.00 * Large dogs -- $45.00 per day; second dog is $40.00 per day * Medium dogs -- $35.00 per day; second dog is $30.00 per day * Small dogs (under 20 lbs) -- $25.00 per day; second dog is $20.00 per day Day Care: We will soon have openings for full-time day care, and we are asking if you are looking for full-time day care soon. We are taking applications, and we would like to review our candidates. Day care rates is $38.00 per day, from Monday to Sunday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monthly membership is $30.40 per day with a savings of $152.00 per month.
