"We shape our dwellings, and afterward, our dwellings shape us."

We have 32 years of experience in drywall, painting, plaster, handyman repairs and project management.
Drywall to small jobs have been my bread and butter for most of my career. I'm efficient, and my work is clean and affordable. I have references available upon request.
Venetian plaster - 10 years ago, I started applying venetian plaster with excellent results. My work is impeccable, and my rates are, by far, the most affordable. If you'd like to see some samples, I can make them for you.
Painting - I do interiors only. I offer an immaculate finish, two coats roll-on, clean lines and no mess. It's quick and clean. I offer fair rates.
Handyman - I offer replacement and repair of electrical and lighting fixtures, faucets and sinks, doors and windows, furniture and cabinets, and texture matching. I also offer garage storage shelving. All are affordable. I offer reasonable rates and assured satisfaction.
Project manager - Contractors are too expensive. In fact, the saying in the trade is, "If you find a contractor whom you can afford, he's not worth it!" Well, maybe you don't need one. I'm a project manager for home remodeling.
I do the same work that a contractor does at half the rate, and I have twice the resources. I like to call myself an aesthetic engineer. I offer home remodeling for form, function and appeal, working with the home owner to define and refine the perfect home.
We all need a little more space. I have the ability to find dead space in your house and make it useful. I carry the insurance and guarantee the subs work. Call me for an estimate.

A. If you can find a that you can afford, he's probably not worth what you're paying him.
Trust your first instincts. They're usually right.
When you meet your potential hire, ask him/her what's most important to them about their work. Then ask them why that one thing is important.
Then, (and this is important) ask them (whatever that answer is) what that does for them.
Listen to their choice of words, the tone of their voice and read their body language. These few things will tell you everything you need to know before you make your decision.
A. In drywall, nothing is really very hard to do.
Before you start any project, imagine yourself going through every step from start to finish.
After each step, again image everything step by step.
Clean your tools and your hand often. As you wash them, be sure to allow any stress or frustration from the last step to wash down the drain as well.
Pay attention to your body movements and try to remember what you felt when your work looks right.
Before you begin, take pride in what you are about to accomplish.
And most important, remember...
Never a Failure, Always a Lesson
A. "Can I go see the results of your last customer?"
Pay attention to how long it takes them to respond.
A. Good question.
It was only when a general contractor, who was also an amazing finish carpenter, told me that he thought that I was much better at what I did than he was at what he did, that I realized just how good I was at what I do.
I guess I'm just very detail oriented.
That and I'm fast and clean
A. People.
I love being able to meet new and interesting people that either have just bought a new home or are remodeling their old home.
I love knowing that when I am finished and I have left, that my customers are happy and satisfied and will remember me for many years to come.
A. What colors to paint certain rooms.
For the entry or living room, I ask them to think about Pride and to feel what that feeling of pride feels like inside them. then I ask them to assign a color to that feeling.
For the kitchen, I ask them what their favorite desert is.
Master bedroom: I ask them to think about something calming and tranquil and to feel what that feeling feels like inside them and assign a color to that feeling.
By this point they usually have the rest of the colors automatically.
