FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Well, what I do depends on each particular students needs so the exact details of what I do for each student varies. In general I want to make the learning fun so the student will want to do the work needed and I will always stress the importance of a good technical foundation. I also include imformation about the history of the piano, composers, and the great pianists of the past and today. Comparison of different styles is important to understanding and learning! I enjoy passing on to my students the best techniques for piano and wish to help those who are serious about learning all they can about the instrument and the music!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find the best instuctor you can...we know of music schools who are using piano instructors who have never played piano themselves...how much can they possibly know about piano? Of course, knowing and teaching are two different things but nobody can teach what they themselves don't know. From a very young age I was taught by some of the best instructors in Argentina. I now wish to pass on to my students the knowledge I have gained from these instructors and my extensive performance experience. Piano has been what I have done all my life from the age of 4 to the present...I have had no other job!
