Introduction: Hi New Friends & Musicians! I am Ceci, born and raised in Oakland. I am a violin teacher with a M.M in Violin Performance from Chicago College of Performing Arts. I have been teaching and performing locally for several years. My private studio is located in East Oakland and I also teach via zoom. I believe that music helps people express themselves and become more fulfilled people during a time full of challenges in our community. I’ve worked with students and families from a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Since everyone learns differently, I develop a unique curriculum that works best for the student to enhance creativity, develop discipline, and an understanding of the world through music that gives them the skills to excel at anything they set their mind to. I am fully vaccinated and am currently accepting students of all ages and levels for in person and virtual lessons. Working with Ceci has been such a pleasure for my son. He’s a pre-teen and new to violin so he can sometimes be self-conscious. Ceci is really patient with him. I’ve already seen his confidence improve from his first month of lessons. I’d definitely recommend booking a class - especially for new students.

My daughter and I are most disappointed! After only one lesson with Ceci, we immediately realized how wonderful of an instructor she is. Yet, we live too far away from Ceci to continue to work with her. We are truly disappointed because Ceci brought a great level of energy and fun to my seven year old daughter's lesson.

Ceci is the best! She is full of passion and dedicates her time in understanding each student. She tailors specific lesson plans for my daughter to understand. Her breakdown is straightforward. Patient Violin teacher that really give useful lessons that my niece really enjoy! She is 10 years old, likes Ceci more then her own mom! when it comes to lessons ( her mom plays violin too )

Ms. Ceci helps a lot with intonation and technique. Very fun to talk to about life during the beginning and end of the lesson. :D
