- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is varied on how complicated your returns are to complete, I charge one price for Federal, State and Electronic Filing, never a per form fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is first a phone call, then I send an organizer to help you prepare the documents you need for filing of your tax returns. Then depending of if this is a remote situation I would either set up a drop box on the internet for the customer to scan and deposit the documentation or set up a fax or email for the customer to transfer the documents. If the customer is local then I would set an appointment to meet with them to retrieve their documentation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To keep current with IRS tax laws I take 72 hours of continuing education each year to meet all requirements for licensing by the State of California and the IRS
