- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do but that is because it all depends on the job, if and how far I would travel, etc. Here's a simple price breakdown for lessons $40.00 for 1/2hr and $60.00 for 1hr. If I am going to travel, I bill an additional fee for mileage (unless it is 5 mi or less).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No. I stay current by doing research on my own time, along with listening to music that is currently trending and updating my equipment every few years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My full-time job moved from CA to NV so I either had to get a new FT job or start my own business. I chose the latter - more challenging but also more rewarding.
