Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Simply put, it is Echometry. Echometry is more than just teaching method. It is the actual science of music. Even the most advanced music theorist weeps with joy at the information gained from Echometry. Traditional music theory uses 7 letters and a confusing number of sharps and flats to represent 12 notes. Echometry uses 12 numbers to represent 12 notes. Traditional music theory is like trying to read a cookie recipe on a crumpled up piece of paper without straightening it out first. Echometry is like reading the original tollhouse recipe. Not only can I teach you to play, I can teach you to understand why you play. I love students who are passionate about music. My best students are the ones who want to create their own music. Those who want the ability to define themselves as unique and expressive musicians. Those who want more than to just play a song are the most challenging and most rewarding. Those who truly desire a full understanding of the nature of music are my favorite to work with. I also manage an internet radio station that only plays original unsigned artists. It is my passion to discover new expressions in music. My favorite bands are not the ones you will hear on the radio. I crave new music like I crave food and water everyday. I am on a mission. And I believe in it with every ounce of my soul. There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing you can enlighten people to one of the greatest gifts of mankind, understanding music. Even those who do not play are fascinated by Echometry. It brings even the most untrained individual into a better understanding of the music they hear. And sharing that gift, bestowed upon me by Alex Sioris, is my favorite part of my job.

Jason interviewed me for a show. It was excellent talking to a man so passionate about music. I'm a DIY musician, who needs every boost of confidence she can get. Not only was Jason an outstanding interviewer, but he believes in his work, which is both contagious and inspiring! Thank you!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

If you really want to understand music and have the power and tools to express your emotion, then this new ground breaking teaching method is the key to your success. I help musicians to free themselves of bonds and mysteries of traditional music theory. I help my students to get in touch with their natural ability to express themselves through music. I help students to discover their true sonic ability. My aim in each session with my students is to lighten their musical load and help them to pass easily into a state of musical enlightenment, discovery, creation and expression. My goal is not to teach you to play a song but to play your song.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Here is the thing about music, traditional music theory, while relatively accepted, lacks the ability to clearly state the simplicity of music. In order to write a score, a composer must study for years. For a few original notes to fall upon a piece of paper, takes years of indoctrination into a method that is nothing less than laborious and time consuming. Imagine writing a piece of music as you would write a letter to a friend. Sure, it is a new language for you, but here is the best part, this language only has twelve words. With our new innovative method of understanding music, you will be able to easily transcribe your ideas for other fellow Echomitrist to easily read and play. With Echometry now going into schools in the LA city school district, we are confident that this revolutionary method will be the wave of the future.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Anyone who plays guitar can teach you to play some songs on the guitar. The internet is full of free video lessons as well as lessons you can pay a hefty price for. Chord charts to your favorite tunes are only a mouse click away. Scales are widely published on the internet for free! And nothing will improve your playing more than playing. But understanding is something different. You can learn hot licks all day long. You can learn to shred like Joe Satriani or Yngwie Malmsteen. Or you can learn to jam like Trey Anastasio or Jerry Garcia. Or, you can learn Echometry and surpass them all in understanding and creative writing. Technique and skill can be developed through traditional methods, but there is nothing else that will give you the understanding, creative power and musical freedom and confidence that Echometry provides. Echometry is not a theory. It is a mathematically proven fact!
