Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Do your homework. Get referrals from friends and family that have used the service. Call and get pricing quotes from several service providers, and make sure the company has a warranty for parts and services. Check their credentials, insurance, and licensing with the County or State.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Make sure you are careful of sites that are potentially dangerous, or may contain virus' or malware. Be careful what you are downloading, and make sure attachments you are opening from emails are from senders you trust.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What is your hourly rate?
Do you come to me or do I have to drag my computer to you?
Will you guarantee your work, and protect my data?
Do you warranty your work and parts?
What is your training and/or experience in these matters?
