Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Private events usually but I love to play Public events, I have not Dj'd for a wedding yet, That would be fun! I once played a private event for the Owner of the Bendistillery/CraterLakeVodka Company, at his private resort called Anahata Springs in Desert Hot Springs California. He enjoyed it just as much as I did.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. What equipment are the Dj's using and is it suitable for the occasion, Are they doing it on there laptop? Turn Tables? Are they using CDJ's or a Mixer? There is a ton of equipment that DJ's can use to make the experience for the Customer better and more Professional. There are some DJ's that only need a laptop. Nothing wrong with that at all. Just make sure to Listen to something they have mixed together. Mixing is one of the most important jobs for a DJ.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I LOVE seeing people happy with the music I mix together, and watching them enjoy it. Especially when I do an Electro Mix, The buildups and Drops are such a rush. I enjoy when I get to communicate with fans as well, Get requests in music, and talk to people who are as interested in this Career as I am.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. Once played an Event at Anahata Springs, I was super excited especially because it was for a private event for the Bendistillery/CraterLakeVodka Company. Little did I know, Once I walked into the Resort, Almost everyone was nude... Good times.
