La Petite Ecole Française's mission is to promote and support an appreciation for the French language and the francophone culture.

La Petite Ecole Française (LAPEFR) is dedicated to the learning of French and offers a variety of French courses, private classes and specialized workshops for both adults and children of all levels.

Our teachers are native trained teachers who encourage communication in a lively and friendly atmosphere. Our classes are taught in a total French immersion environment and are student-centered.

Price: $235 for group classes taking place in Pasadena with a minimum of 5 students enrolled.

  The class taught by Caroline Busse is exceptional because there is no stress at all but we improve week to week and gain confidence. There's a community feeling and we're all encouraged to speak in French whether it's correct or not.......and learning by making mistakes is important. She's a lovely young woman but also an organized leader who keeps it under control so there's obvious progress. And it's fun.

  The French lessons that Le Petite Ecole Francaise offer are great. I would highly recommend it. Caroline is a great teacher and person. My daughter enjoyed the French lessons very much.

  We really enjoyed our experience with Caroline at La Petite Ecole. Our 5 yr old was among other bilingual kids and has been able to catch up with so much vocabulary, by playing games or learning little poems. She is a nice and caring teacher.

  It is rare you meet people who genuinely love their work but Caroline is one of them. She doesn't only share with us her language, but so much about the French culture and way of life. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know her and having the privilege of being one of her students. Merci Beaucoup!

  Our son who comes from a French family background, needed to improve his French, especially reading and writing. We met Caroline and were totally amazed at how great her classes were. She incorporates a playful approach to the learning that made it so much more likable to our son, who usually is not very fond of academic classes after school... She gave him lots of confidence and we saw a huge difference in his behavior during his end of the year show.He was truly happy and confident to be with that little group of friends. I can actually say that he really enjoyed his experience at La petite Ecole Francaise and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a very a professional and kind person to teach their children French. Best French classes in town!

  My daughters have been students at La Petite Ecole Francaise for almost 2 years and love it. Class sizes are kept small and taught by native speakers so that students can really get a feel for the language and how it is spoken. They also do a great job at teaching students about French traditions, customs and culture as well as informing them on local French cultural events such as many of the local French film and music events we were never aware of. We highly recommend La Petite Ecole Francaise!
