- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are competitive. If you have a budget in mind I can provide beautiful murals that fit your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to find out what kind of concept the client is looking for, I might show some samples to see if there is something they like in my portfolio, or ask if they have some samples of art that demonstrate what appeals to them. I can meet with you for an initial conversation to discuss your mural needs for no charge and do afew rough sketches on site to zero in on what you have in mind. I take photos of the space, and for a small fee, will create afew preliminary photoshop mock ups of a designs that fits your space. I will email you the designs and we can refine the concept before proceeding to the mural painting stage. When I draw people on site or at parties or events, I usually will have a conversation with them while drawing, as an informal conversation tends to bring out some of the personality. It's always fun.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied animation and art at CAL ARTS. Hired by Disney feature in my senior year, that resulted in 27 years of full time, non stop character animation and character design on some of the most memorable animated characters and films most people have seen. What a ride! Now I am available for art and design service.
