Picone Piano Lessons

My name is Dean Picone, and I am a piano teacher, composer, and performer in Pasadena with a love for kids, teaching, mentoring, and music. Having recently moved to Pasadena to begin graduate study at Fuller, I am looking for a few students who are interested in learning to love and understand music. Specifically, I teach how to read music and play by ear, with an emphasis on composition and music theory. My students can expect positive and fun lessons that help an individual develop a passion for the instrument and a love of music. I also focus on each student’s unique talents while providing a clear idea of what is expected, what to practice, and how to improve. Fees and time schedule include: * I teach 45-minute lessons for $30. * I am flexible with time, and am open most afternoons/evenings after 3:30 p.m. For more information, examples of music that I have written, and pictures, see my website.
