Child Care

I am a state licensed child care home provider and have experience in caring for children for many years. Our home is only 2 minutes away from I-80 freeway exit, new and spacious, in a 3 acres country setting, city water (no well) and has a built-in park backyard. My friends calls it the little ‘Yosemite’ because of the boulders, fruit trees and oak trees in the property.

Activities:

The children and I will do our morning and afternoon nature walks, rock climbing, water play, pick fruits from our fruit trees (oranges, apples, cherries, grapes) and fresh eggs free for the parents to take home if they want to. We will feed our farm animals, Bubu the goat, Fred the rooster, Mama hen and our baby chicks every day. We will also do gardening so the children can watch their plants grow and teach them that growing your own food is a start to healthy life.

About me:

My husband and I fostered many children in our home for many years. I am in my fifties, energetic, patience, love working with children, into health and an awesome cook that only uses natural ingridients. My husband owns his handyman services for 15 years and available to teach children who would like to build things. We are finger printed, live scans, insured, with perfect driving records and both CPR/First Aid certified. We completed many hours of workshops from PCOE and ARC on early childhood environment.

Home and Location:

Our home is new, spacious and minutes away from Penryn Fire Department, Loomis Sherriff Department, Loomis and Penryn Schools, Loomis Library, 10 miles from Roseville and 8 miles from Auburn.

Capacity:

As a state-licensed child care provider, I am approved to care for infants, non/school children and school children. Part-time and drop-ins are welcome. Weekends/weeknights and summer care is also available with advance notice.

Schedule:

Our daily schedule is very flexible to allow for unplanned events or other opportunities that may arise throughout the day. There will be some days that we will not be able to follow our schedule but I assure you that our days will be busy doing fun things and learning things. The curriculum is planned by the month and continually thought out for the needs of each child. Some examples are storytelling through music, we will create books (children write or dictate a story on a particular event that will give them connection between words and meaning), gardening opportunity and teach them how growing and cooking with fruits and vegetables from start to finish can expand their eating habits and to connect them to nutrition through foods they grow, build things, etc.

It is very important that all applicants, regardless if it's full-time, part-time, summer care, occasional care and drop-ins, must fill-out an application for each child and a copy of their immunization record. All papers must be completed and received in my office before I can care for your child.
