Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My designs are original. They are designed for both web and print color spaces. Since the logo designs I create are vector art, they look good at any size. I am an excellent researcher and make sure my design work matches clients' needs and fits the company's image beyond just looks. Branding and business design create recognition that resonates with viewers and represents a company's philosophy and mission as well as its look and feel.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I like meeting people and helping them solve visual problems. I enjoy researching to come up with the best solutions. I love sketching rough concepts. The technical designer in me loves taking the concepts to finished product stage. Getting buy-in from the client, drawing the detailed version and incorporating client input is not as much fun as the sketching part, but I always learn from this...so I guess I like that part of it too.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much does a basic logo cost? I tell them that I don't charge an hourly rate for a logo because it is not just a drawing. It is marketing piece that creates recognition for a company...from color and form to philosophy and mission. It will serve them in many ways. All of their marketing materials are based on the strength of this design. A well designed logo will add class and clarity to a company's presence.
