FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Girl Friday Virtual Marketing works on a retainer basis, or on a project basis. We do not charge by the hour. In order to give my clients the best Value for their marketing dollar, I interview them extensively about their Goals for their website and marketing plan. I then write a proposal with a "menu" of options; these options may include a WordPress website and/or blog, a social media plan, an email campaign plan, print materials, etc. Each proposal is customized to the client's needs, and a monthly retainer, or a project cost, is estimated. My clients always know what their marketing investment will cost, and there are no hidden or recurring costs. Maintenance contracts are available for one-off website projects, or, we train you how to manage your WordPress site yourself once it is launched. We offer three months of free email customer service once your site is launched.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of WebDesign.com, which is a continuing educational/training resource for WordPress site developers. Girl Friday has participated in countless hours of WordPress and plugin training, often tests new WordPress tools as they are launched, and stays up-to-date with the latest tools and trends in WordPress and social media.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Before you embark on converting your static (HTML) site to a WordPress (dynamic) site/marketing tool, the very first thing you need to determine is your Goal: is it to increase your client base? sell a service or product? be an information source for consumers/patients/clients/the general public? Whatever your ultimate Goal, it must be clearly defined before we can choose the appropriate site design and functionality, and before we can determine your target audience for social media. Girl Friday Virtual Marketing interviews you extensively to help you focus on what your goals are, and how to achieve them.
