Antonella is a creative, dynamic, attuned, and deeply knowledgeable yoga teacher. I have worked with her one-on-one and attended her classes. Her classes are consistently deep, complete, and responsive to the needs in the class. As a one-on-one yoga teacher/ yoga therapist she took the time to understand my health, my interests, and then to plan sessions that were challenging, fun, and very educational. She was also flexible enough to depart from plans when I needed more time, help, or explanation, and to come up with creative ways to get the message across and work together. My yoga practice and my physical presence feel deeper and more powerful since working with Antonella and I look forward to continuing classes with her.

“I came to Yoga One in the hopes of healing my leg pain after a marathon, but I ended up with so much more. After 3 months of yoga, I know longer had physical pain, but I was unprepared for the amount of emotional pain that welled up during that time. Antonella taught me that our bodies hold more tension than our minds, and as I slowly worked through my pain and stiffness, the ensuing softness allowed for an inner release of tensions and fears. Antonella’s teaching flows well-beyond the physical pose by embedding life lessons into the movement. One night we did a series of gentle twists with the intention of opening our heart to the future while keeping our feet firmly rooted into the parts of the past that still serve us. This visual helped me to also improve my running posture and increase my time!”

First, let me say I had mixed emotions about posting this. After all, if you found the perfect place to nurse your mind, body & spirit every week, wouldn't you want to keep it to yourself? But that wouldn't be fair, and I think everyone should know about Antonella. I've had chronic back pain and many surgeries in the last 20 years and my body has become horribly stiff. I've tried every therapy possible with no success. A friend recommended Restorative Yoga as the perfect way to gain back the flexibility. As with any treatment, you have to feel a connection to the individual treating you or it won't work. Antonella is incredibly warm and kind and made -- not only me -- but everyone feel welcome. I was nervous that it would painful trying to bend in ways I'd never been able to, but her technique is nothing short of miraculous. Just when I think my body can't possibly bend anymore, she knows exactly where to place her hands under me to work out those last little kinks until I melt into the floor. And - icing on the cake - the class is Friday evening which is an absolutely perfect way to end a stressful week!

After shopping for a yoga studio I joined Yoga One and met Antonella, a blessing for sure, and that is when I found out that I could schedule a private session with her to address my concern, osteopenia and my yoga practice. Since I am relatively young, I want to make sure I am practicing movement in a healthy manner so that I may continue to enjoy a quality of life that makes me feel that almost nothing is impossible IF, I learn to make healthy modifications, and I have with her help. My private 1/2 hour session was at the Yoga One studio which was nice because I was able to attend her class afterwards and immediately practice what we went over with a great sense of comfort and relief in knowing that I was protecting and strengthening my bones at the same time. Lastly, you should know that previous reviewers are spot on with their comments on this website and anyone who employs her will realize that their time with her is well spent. It's all about you!

We have been students of Antonella for over 18 months. From yoga for true beginners to her flow classes the instruction and attention she gives each student have been superb. Her restorative and therapudic classes are extremely helpful as is her providing in-depth explanations of what and how the poses can assist. She even organized a great children's class for house guests visiting with children. A superb instructor who understands her students interests and abilities.
