FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our rates vary based on the service and travel time. Generally a traditional wedding service or the first hour of performance costs $300-400 per player depending on travel and music requests, and additional performance time is typically $60 per hour per player. We are happy to negotiate rates for non-profit groups and benefits, or collaboration with composers, conductors, or recording projects. Please contact us for more details and a quote for your specific event needs.

- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Quality and price varies widely amongst gigging musicians, but there are lots of great musicians out there! Lower prices generally mean the musicians might not perform at professional level, or simply that they are not compensating musicians fairly for the service (for example, weddings are typically a 6-8 hour time commitment not including the coordination/management time). Look for a small local group rather than a large entertainment booking company, so you can communicate with the actual musicians you will be working with, and so the performance ability is sure to match the samples you hear on their website.
