Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I have been playing drums/percussion for 16 years now. I have been educated and honed my craft being involved in concert band, drum core, Jazz groups, and playing as a professional freelance drummer for the last 5 years. I can play all styles of music in my own unique voice. Understanding the music business is also another asset I attain that makes me a complete musician.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I actually LOVE my job. Music is my passion. It isn't work for me at all so making money doing something I love is the best part. I also like the fact that I play with so many different musicians in so many different musical situations. This keeps it interesting as I would get a bit bored doing the same thing over and over again. Music is my life.

A. How long have I been playing? -16 years
What are some of the styles of music that I can play? -Jazz, Hip-Hop, Rock, Afro Cuban, Samba, Pop, Funk, Classical
Who are my influences? -Steve Jordan, Chris "Daddy" Dave, Steve Gadd, JR Robinson, and Abe Laboriel Jr., just to name a few.
What type of curriculum do my lessons consist of? -I teach in four different categories: FUNDAMENTALS, FUNCTION, FORM, FREEDOM
