Introduction: Being a non-traditional interior designer, I previously acquired a background in medicine and completed my bachelor’s degree in public health and chemistry at California State University, Fullerton. After reflecting upon my lifelong passion for interior decorating and designing, I made a bold career transition to fulfill my hobby full-time and established Nhuhao’s Interior Design LLC in 2021. Ever since, I have worked with many clients in California and nationwide where I gained monumental experience curating tailored designs for residential and commercial interiors. My work experience further expanded with every connection I established with local suppliers, contractors, and industry partners as an associate of Interior Design Society (IDS). Moreover, my continuing education at UCLA extension, interior design program has provided me the knowledge and insights into creating the most magnificent and well-suited interiors for my existing and prospective clients. With my determination and passion for design, I am confident to be your most valuable ally to transform your dream space into a reality while optimizing functionality, cost-effectiveness, and promoting the wellness of you and your guests.

My experience with Nhuhao was better than I could have hoped for. We were trying to get a small rental house furnished from out of state and the logistics were tricky. Nhuhao assisted us with anything and everything we needed, quickly, efficiently and thoughtfully. She was upbeat, professional, responsible and trustworthy. I love how well she communicated, always using photos to confirm when a task was completed. Nhuhao, I'm sorry it took me so long to write this review! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical design process involves five simple steps. 1. Project Brief: discovery meeting with the clients, get your sense of styles, take measurements and pictures/ videos. 2. Concept Proposal - presentation of mood boards and color palette options built around the brief. 3. Design Development - presentation of floor plan, 2D and/or 3D renderings, as well as providing a purchase list. Revisions included with varied design packages. 4. Installation - coordination with the general contractor, architect, painter or handyman (available to hire per request). 5. Project Wrap-Up: collection after photos and/videos.
