Introduction: Hi there!
I have been a professional union painter for the past 20 years. I now own a very nice FL70 24-foot box truck with a lift gate that is perfect for hauling, construction, garage cleanups, etc.
I have been in the construction trade for almost 25 years and am a very good handyman. I do not do jobs that require permits, but I do carry a $1 million commercial liability insurance. I do the job right, or I tell you honestly what the job will require.
Most handyman services out there are about $50-$60 per hour to pay for the advertising and nice trucks. I charge $35 per hour for painting and handyman services and $45 per hour for me and my truck for moving, hauling, etc.
If you need two guys to move, it would be an additional $15 per hour. This is fair. I have extensive experience with doing really high-end work, as far as painting, cabinet refinishing, and enamel work. I worked at the Getty's in SF. I know the kind of quality it takes to get any job done right.
Thank you for your time,
Neil Turner
