- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I must do at least 26 hours of continuing education yearly to keep up my license current. With all the many tax changes we have been having over the past three years, I usually end up taking many more hours than the required minimum.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ensure that they (a) licensed to represent you before the IRS and/or Franchise Tax Board; (b) ask about their fees at the initial meeting to see if you can afford them, and, (c) seem if you like their style and judge whether you trust them. You are putting your financial life in their hands-make sure you are worthy of that trust.
