Our wedding was 2 weeks ago and we literally still have people calling my parents and us to comment on how great the food was and how beautiful everything looked. One of our guests went back for more mashed potatoes to go with his cake! They were great to work with from the beginning- very attentive to any changes we wanted to make to food (not many!), easy to get estimates from, and quick to update our invoice with our many changes! I also had some issues with my debit card and they were so flexible in helping make the not-so-fun finance part easy. And it was all within our budget with no pushing of any extra stuff! We live out of state and planned everything remotely after the tasting, so we had absolutely no idea what the presentation would look like. All I did was email her a image of our colors and walk into the reception seeing everything look better than I could imagine! The staff was perfect as well. Thanks for a great night!!!

We had a very large action sports event come to San Francisco and I was in charge of hiring and scheduling a caterer. After reaching out to 5-6 different companies, I decided Gimanelli's Catering would be the perfect fit. They were extremely easy to work with and to get ahold of, she was responsive when I requested changes to the menus, and was able to work with my budget. On one day I think we scheduled up to seven meal services in different locations. When the actual event happened we used Gimanelli's for 5 days of back-to-back service. You can't go wrong with them from your large corporate event to a small family get-to-gether - I would definitely use them again in the future.

We recently hired Gimanelli's Catering to cater our daughter's wedding based on a personal recommendation and we were very pleased with the entire experience. The food was delicious, service outstanding, and presentation very elegant. From the preliminary tasting and excellent personal service provided by their senior event coordinator to the awesome wedding day team who were top notch at making sure every detail was covered according to our wishes, the special day our daughter dreamed of was perfect. They provide a full range of service options to choose from for any type of event, and we definitely recommend them if you are looking for a quality experience with a professionally run business.

Gimanelli's is absolutely the best. I've used them three times for three different types of events, including my wedding with over 150 people. Each time they have been excellent. They are timely, delicious, inexpensive and friendly. Everyone loves the people that have served and cooked our food, and more importantly. Everyone loves the food! They are the best!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are fair-priced and our items are always worth what they cost. We offer certain fees but discounts however as well. Feel free to ask since they vary. You will not be disappointed by our products.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To get you started, we will ask the following questions: 1. How many guests are expected? 2. Where will this event be held? 3. Will you be needing any servers and/or rentals? (Rentals may include tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, and chafing dishes). 4. Is this is a cold or hot meal? Is it a breakfast, lunch, or dinner? 5. Is this a formal or an informal event? We love bringing in new customers and hearing their voices light up with joy at the sights of our wonderful menus. We definitely have a knack for converting newcomers into long-time loyal customers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our cooks and chefs all come from the best training and schools and our event planners and contacts are very prideful in making sure your quote is made to perfection. Well educated and easy-going, our employees and staff are always willing to make sure your event comes first and foremost.
