A. The advantage of hiring Pro-Touch over any other paint company is many years of specialized training in professional painting with commercial companies who require extensive skills to maintain high quality standard most painters today just are not trained for. To identify each surface and properly call for the best paint that will look and perform for the longest time possible without failure. Interior wall finishes, wood trim finishes, natural wood surfaces all have a lustre that set them apart, yet all compatible for superior finish look. We specialize in all these areas. Most painters train themselves?

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. technique's on how to apply paints properly using airless, rolling machines, and brush .The best tools to use.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. 1)If there a state licensed contractor with skills in all phases of contruction interior ,exterior, residential, commercial
2) proper insurance, bonds, worker compensation, and auto insurance
3) if they Guarantee all materials and workmanship, and promise to return for any problems for a term of (5) Years

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Its always smart to call the professional paint manufacturers to write a specification to provide you with a clear idea of the prepartion, primers, and best finish products they recommend. Then compare the spec, with each paint contractor knowledge.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. iF WE'RE FULLY INSURED AND BONDED AND LICENSED

Yes, we carry full coverage, and protection against any damages or losses, and bonds for all employee's

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. One of the my favorite projects was a Victorian Home in Alameda. It required every skill in the industry to provide a duarble protective finish that will last. Being all wood, and thousands of joints where water can penetrate, which is the primary cause of paint failure, its necessay to prepare each and every surface, using proper primers, caulk with quality sealants, and finally finish with a balance color scheme and also the proper paint finish, flat, satin, gloss, that ties the whole package together perfectly. It is the ultimate challenge. Requires years of Knowledge.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. This area is the most confusing for most customer because one contractor can account for alot less work on preparation then the next. This can add hundred and thousands of dollars in some cases. If one is cutting corners to provide a cheap estimate just to get the job, you lose because the paint will start failing sooner, and defects will result in exposed wood componants , and need replacing if not dealt with. Proper estimate of time necessay to prepare the surface, followed by the right choice primers, and finish paints all add up to a quality, that cost. Most painters hate preparation, its tedious, and they need to be supervised. Its overlooked in most bids

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Like alot of businesses out there you need to be motivated to succeed. The painting business is much harder, due to its requirements to be very fit, physical, artistic, patient, and durable, its requires dedication you can't pass on to someone else. Because finding good help is necessary, the management end is tough. You need to love what you do..

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. My skills exceed the average in the field , knowing short cuts and all the tools necessary to do every funtion of the business .Some jobs require special skills in using the proper equipment , to keep safety in mind, to prevent injurys and property damage. Also key, such as preparation, most will neglect it, have amateurs do it, apply paint right over dirty, unprepared surfaces. I have 25 years in all phases, sprayman on giant buildings, commercial facility's, and large custom homes, Very professional and prepared for anything related to painting. Reasonable, and Honest .

Q. What are you currently working on improving?

A. Its always a task to communicate with new customers that we have there best interest at heart. Of course we want to impress them with a high quality finish that will last, and give them a since of real value for there investment. We strive for more folks to ask more questions, and seek our help.
