Becoming More Vibrant and Strong with Gentle Yoga
My journey includes extensive training in yoga therapy, svaroopa yoga foundations, gentle, chair and senior yoga. I have enjoyed teaching in pain management centers, senior retirement communities and health centers, spas, studios, corporate settings, and for private clients.
Cheryl Todd has been practicing gentle yoga since 1997 after suffering with fibromyalgia for years. With this, she discovered that such form of yoga was helping her to heal not only her body, but her mind as well. Thus, she developed Harmony Grove Yoga as she felt that there was a real need for a gentle, more approachable style of fitness that all ages and abilities could practice easily regardless of size, shape or level of fitness or condition.
I particularly enjoyed creating my Supported Chair Yoga for All class designed for seniors. My newest project is my online HGY Studio, where students can log on to my site and choose from a variety of web classes from the schedule and take a live, face-to-face yoga class with me without leaving home.
