I worked with Mr. Pestle during my senior year of high school in the school play. Despite never meeting him before, nor having any previous experience in a play or drama before, he showed a level of kindness and encouragement towards me that it is extremely rare in teachers of any form. His level of enthusiasm and obvious passion for what he does makes him a complete joy to be around, and also makes the experience for all involved much more inspiring. He works hard every session to get the most amount of work complete at the highest level of quality, while also maintaining a steady head and never losing his temper. One can always look forward to a class or session with him offering something new and intriguing to learn, and at the same time keep the atmosphere fun, yet with a high standard of professionalism. There is never a time working with him where anyone felt excluded, and he was always open to new ideas or even constructive criticism from subordinates. Given the opportunity, I would work with him again in a heartbeat. His kind and compassionate demeanor is contagious to be around, and his display of a high amount of knowledge and level of professionalism for his craft and trade gives comfort to all involved knowing they are in good hands. I would highly recommend working with Mr. Daniel Pestle to anyone. A great teacher, and a great friend!

I have known Mr. Pestle for several years. He is extremely passionate about teaching, theater, acting, and writing—this shows in every aspect of his work, especially his theater productions and English classes. His encouragement, enthusiasm, and humor make him an excellent mentor. I have enjoyed learning from Mr. Pestle through discussion of literature and art! He is honest, and very easy to talk to. Mr. Pestle is awesome. I would absolutely recommend him.

Mr. Pestle has directed and led multiple events and shows in which I have been involved, such as Fiddler on the Roof, Junie B Jones the musical, Narnia the musical, and general performances at music festivals. His attitude, determination, and passion for the arts make him the best at what he does. Mr. Pestle is a relatable and outstanding teacher and director from whom I learned a great deal, and anyone would be lucky to have him!
