Zen is currently accepting new students for private guitar lessons and band classes out of J ACE J Music Studios in Redwood City, CA (on the border of Menlo Park).
Zen has been teaching music in the Bay area for four years. He specializes in teaching all ages from brand new beginners to early advanced levels. He incorporates music theory, ear training, learning songs (all the way through), reading and proper technique into the lessons. All lessons are tailored to you, the individual student, with a focus on your personal goals as a musician, whether it be improvisation/jamming, learning songs or writing your own. I am in my late twenties and have an outgoing and enthusiastic personality that I find works really well for younger kids - I'm very passionate about music!
