Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Private clients looking to lose weight and get fit. I also train athletes trying to improve their game as well as housewives who just want to look good naked. Of course, I also get a lot of new moms who want to get the baby weight off. I have a nice balance of client types and I enjoy the varying workouts and needs of each client.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Stop thinking about it, you'll only think yourself out of it. Jump into the deep end - I will catch you!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. One word: Experience. Our trainers are all professional trainers, not actors. Additionally, all trainers at TSG have qualifications beyond a simple trainers certification. Each trainer must provide an expert service that is unique to his/her own and that can be provided with expert instruction to the students. We are also on top of the very latest in the fitness industry, keeping tabs on what's HOT and what's to be avoided. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide tough workouts without compromising our clients' health and safety. Knee problems? No problem! We modify every workout to meet every clients' needs.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love hearing how much I have helped my clients. When I hear the words "I couldn't have done this 2 months ago" I get so happy! We take the work out of your workouts and you leave feeling like you just went to gym class! Seeing our clients achieve things they never dreamed possible is the absolute best. I, and my trainers, love what we do and it shows!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How do I lose this? (pointing to their stomach)
This is such a common question and my first response is: "Stop talking and keep moving - we'll discuss it on our run". Keeping people moving, burning calories and educating them on food and diet is so important. Another question I hear often is "How long will it take for me to lose XX pounds?" Again, people are more concerned with how and when than actually doing the work. If I had a magic 8 ball and could tell you, I would. My answer to nearly every question I get is..."Let's see how much effort you give me in the gym and in your homework, and we'll revisit that question in one month."
