Introduction: I'm a classical/Spanish guitarist and teacher. I teach in all styles, but have received extensive training in the techniques used for "finger-style" guitar. I love to perform and teach equally, so I'm not one of those frustrated teachers who'd rather be somewhere else. I've performed all over the Bay Area (CA) and specialize in weddings and private events.
That said, I often play in restaurants or for tastings in wine country, and I'm good in setting the right mood for any occasion. My teaching style varies per student, with focus on long-term goals, while achieving short-term success. I'm relaxed, but to the point with my students, while emphasizing discipline and enjoyment, not stress.
