- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most often we are trying to bring to our customers something they can't get with other countertop materials. With concrete being fluid, the customer can be very involved with the design process. Color, shape and mass can be worked into most pieces unlike the more common countertop materials. In fact with Concrete other materials like Granite, marble, glass and wood can be added, to create something special to the individual customer.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for not less than 5 years experience in trade. If possible someone with formal training, licensed and an artistic eye. Get samples of the finished product. If this is a full remodel, get the installer in early in the project. This prevents issues related to possible other trades and communication. Your installer or fabricator should have a background to draw on to get the job done right. They should not just be able to answer your questions but also ask some questions for you. There should be no pressure to buy or close the deal fast.
