From the time Renee took photos of my 2 1/2 yr old son Nick, catching his eyes full of wonder as he looked up from gently petting one of her cats, til she took his wedding photos nearly 25 yrs later and caught The Kiss that shows his love for Shelly, Renee's had a way about her photography that connects the viewer with the people or the subject of the photograph. My personal favorites are her Riverside Mission Inn and Mt. Rubidoux & Peace Tower and Bridge photos, plus the photo montage she did of my own family of five. She produced some beautiful black & whites of my husband's parents from several of their childhood and wedding pictures that one of my sister-in-law brought her. Rick and their other sister were touched to their core by those when they received them as Christmas gifts. She re-colorized two photos for Rick from the 1970's, one with his fellow police officers at the tank in Fairmount Park and, as a 40th anniversary gift for me, the hunk photo of him at age 22 while on a fishing trip at Convict Lake. Ooooh Baby!

Working with Renee is a joy and your results are not only excellent quality, but also very sensitive to your wishes. Over the last few years I have brought her a number of old photos in various stages of decay and of various formats. She has not only the artistic and technical skills and knowledge to bring them back to life, but her suggestions and generosity in working with you until you're happy with the results are additional reasons to praise her work and her service. She definitely goes "above and beyond." The work takes time (not unreasonable at all), and I'm glad she takes the time - this is not "drive through" photo restoration!! I cannot more highly recommend Renee if you want to restore memories and history through photo restoration.

Renee is a professional through and through. Her work is impeccable! She takes great care and produces high-quality results consistently. Her restoration work of old photographs are the best I've seen. She took a old photograph that had been in a garage, it was dirty, had tears and water damage, and restored this photograph to perfection! Renee is also very personable and able to customize your job so you get exactly what you want.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most photos up to 11x14 inches can be restored for $45.00. Larger photos need to be photographed and printed on a larger professional printer. Those start at $65.00. Thank you!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Come in with your photo, 35mm slide or film or digital file. (I scan slides at home.) I will scan your photo and give you a price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I go to seminars for PhotoShop and keep up to date by buying books and viewing videos on YouTube. I practice, practice, practice to keep my skills current. I have been know to start out fresh several times on an individual picture until I get it right. I take on projects that are challenging on purpose.
