- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I teach with the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts: The rates are as follows: For 30 minute weekly lessons: $30 For 45 minute weekly lessons: $45 For 60 minute weekly lessons: $50
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My teaching is adaptive to my students. In the first few meetings, I will determine their speed of learning, learning modes, and many other things so that lessons can be really be catered to them. Depending on the type of learner I have, I may require different books, or no books at all, etc. In my lessons, I will also include music theory in order to make sure that my students become wholesome musicians.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Guitar, I have completed the Trinity Guildhall Curriculum for Classical Guitar, having had nationwide high scores in my grades 4 and 5 exams. Flute: I studied under Dr. Martin Glicklich and completed a bachelor's degree in flute performance. During my undergraduate years, I had the honor of winning 2nd place in the University's Annual Concerto Competition as well as being named Outstanding Performer of the Year by the Music Department. I have received a masterclass by world-renowned Jim Walker and Jasmine Choi. Music Theory: During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a teaching assistant for Music Theory I, II and Counterpoint. After I graduated, I served as an adjunct professor of Music Theory at La Sierra University.
