BEWARE* - Purchased a horse 9/4/15 with a contract that stated Vicky Rowe would transfer the APHA registration to me upon final payment on 12/1/15. I gave her $5000 up front with a final payment of $1500 due on 12/1/15. Early November I became made aware that Vicky Rowe was NOT the registered owner of the horse and never had been. When I confronted her on this she stated that she told me this when we signed the contract. Why would I sign a contract stating I will be receiving APHA papers on my horse if she told me she never had them? Why would she falsify a contract knowing she never had the papers? At this point I told her I was NOT making the final $1500 payment because I signed a contract for and purchased a horse that was to be registered in my name and that was not going to happen due to her fraudulent misrepresentation. On 12/8/15, I contacted the APHA and was sent documentation from them that this horse was not registered to Vicky Rowe nor had any activity including duplicate papers been handled on his account. I then filed a lawsuit in court on 12/8/15 against Vicky Rowe and Katie Neglia-deBoer of Brooktown Training for fraudulent misrepresentation. They both were very aware that Vicky Rowe was not the registered owner of the horse yet still wrote in a contract that Vicky Rowe would transfer the registration to me. I tried working with both of them to fix this situation in order to stay out of court and neither wanted to work on this. All Vicky Wanted was her remaining $1500 knowing full well that she fraudulently had a contract written up that she would not and could not fulfill. Today is 1/5/16 and I just received another email from the APHA stating that Vicky Rowe is NOT the registered owner as of today's date, that there is nothing pending on the horse's account and that there has been no activity on his account since 2003. Its simple contract law and I purchased a horse that was to be registered to me that was fraudulently misrepresented by Vicky Rowe and Katie Neglia-deBoer of Brook Town Stables. I have had to sue them for a portion of my money back for fraud. *BEWARE*

Vicky is a very patient and intelligent instructor. She works with young children and adults equally well. The barn environment is relaxed and fun. All of the students support each other and are friendly! The stalls and grounds are clean and safe. I can't say enough about Vicky and her program.
