FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. It is a way of life, in the working performing arts, that great artists seek the assistance and coaching from others as they continually strive to perfect their craft. For many of his compositions, American composer, Leonard Bernstein continually sought the assistance and opinion of his good friend and mentor Aaron Copland. World renowned Tenor, Beniamino Gigli, sought council from his friend, the great Enrico Caruso. Even today, great musicians such as Soprano, Anna Netrebko will seek out assistance as she transitions from an italian role to her native language of Russian so as to help her with proper vocal placement and sound production. Luciano Pavarotti said it best, when speaking of his own voice said, (paraphrasing) ... if I miss one day of practice, I know the difference. If I were to go several days without, you will know the difference.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Vocal Instruction, Coaching and Rehabilitation
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is always good to look at the artists/teachers schooling. Unfortunately, picking a good voice teacher is a bit like playing Russian roulette. You can only progress as much as the teacher can take you. Look at the artists career. Is that person a performing artist. Are they currently performing? Is this vocal instructor catering to my personal vocal instrument?
