Introduction: We treat your pet like it's a part of our family. My name is Jason, and I'm 33. My wife is Merri, and she's 32. We also have a 3-year-old son named Noah. Between us, we have 2 dogs. Mine is an Eastern German Shepherd named Kai, and Merri's dog is a black lab we call Hunter. We got these dogs from great homes. Although we are big advocates on saving shelter dogs, at the time, it wasn't an option for us. As for our 3-year-old son, he loves and spoils these dogs. When either Merri or I see a stranded dog running about in the streets, we do our best to catch it, and let it get to know us. So, they know we mean it no harm. Then we do our best to find any tags or certain markings and even look for the chip. If nothing is found, I'll quickly search out up a listing about the dog we found. We try our best not to take them to the shelters. We also call the shelter and see if the dog fits any descriptions from anyone who have called in. While trying to find their owners, we wash, bath, and clip their nails. We also take them to the local dog park with our dogs and let them romp around and ease their anxiety from being away from their owners. Out of the nine dogs that we found since New Year of 2014, only two were taken to the shelter. We could not locate the families, and they were at our house for 2 weeks. With that all being said, Merri and I have years of experience in caring for dogs, walking, training, bathing, trimming, and most of all, loving them!
