FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
it all depends on the client.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with many different types, ranging from loud, outgoing families during weddings, to shy, introverted couples, to even the pickiest of the picky people who are never satisfied.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Never settle for somebody who brags about what equipment they have and places a lot of emphasis on that. Those are the types of photographers that are in it for the money and who will not connect with you as a friend and only sees you as a person who's paying them at the end of the day. They will not go out of their way for the clients and do the very best they can because they feel like as long as they have the best camera, they will do a good job, which is not the case at all. Yes, having professional grade equipment gives a photographer the edge and that much more quality, but I have worked with photographers who had the best $3000+ camera and flash but didn't connect with the couple (during a wedding). He literally yelled at relatives and got stressed out easily, I could tell he didn't have his heart in it and didn't care. As for me, I got moments he didn't get and treated everybody with respect, but with my inferior equipment, I still feel like I got the same job done that he did, and that's all that matters.
