- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always reading new articles on doggy behavior and how to handle it. Some examples include: Separation Anxiety, Doggy OCD, Barking, and Socialization. This by no means makes me an expert on these topics but it does help me to stay aware and offer some idea on how to address these problem when I run into them.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have enjoyed pet sitting for many years and decided to make more out of it when I went to college.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Having had my own negative experience with a sitter, I know it can be hard to trust a stranger which is why I like to send a daily text (with permission from the owner), with a picture, so that they can see how well they're buddies are doing. I am very easy going and therefore very tolerant of many different doggy behaviors. I never get upset at my furry friends and NEVER yell or smack.
