Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Our most common jobs are vacant stagings and just recently.... interior redesign and color consults. Many people want to upgrade their existing home but don't know how to start. We help them by working in steps.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure that they have several years of experience in this area with our market. I would ask where they received their staging training and any organizations that they are active in. Then, check their credentials on the web. Look at examples of their work as well.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would like to know all the services that stagers are able to perform. Stagers who have been trained in the art of Interior Design and Home Staging really know their stuff!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Make sure you ask if the home stager has current insurance that covers the items within the house. Whether vacant or occupied staging, the stager must carry insurance.
Also, ask the stager if the pictures on their website actually depict their staging. Many stagers "cut and paste" other work. Premiere Home Staging is proud to include photos of rooms that we have personally done. Every picture on our site is our true photography.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I started my company in January of 2005. I have been through the home selling craze where homeowners in our area were getting multiple bids for their occupied homes. Times have changed drastically now. Your home needs to stand out from the competition. I know just what it takes for homes in today's market to sell.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Our pricing is not complicated at all. If you are selling your home, the price of staging is far less than your first price reduction. Consultations for the "do-it-yourselfers" start at $100 which can give you thousands in profit. Consults for design work start at $200.
