I believe that you have strengths that I can help you to find, use, and rely on to improve your quality of life or, in other words, add life to your years. I offer individual counseling for feeling better about and believing in yourself, decreasing anxiety, feeling hopeful and happy again, and stress management; couples counseling for opening communication, breaking patterns, and sex issues, including pornography addiction; family counseling for divorce, blended families, co-parenting, increasing positive behaviors in children, improving communication, and breaking negative patterns. Affordable counseling based on income and ability to pay is available. I tend to focus on behaviors and thoughts that are no longer working for you. We can look at them together and root them out. I am especially excited to work with individuals in early to middle adulthood, couples, and teens and their parents to resolve conflict. One very sharp tool I have obtained is the use of hypnosis. I have completed the basic training. I will soon finish the intermediate and advance courses. Hypnosis both speeds the process of many interventions and breaks through barriers that sometimes seem impossible.
