I am a freelance interior designer. I do both residential and commercial work. I have a degree in interior design from Brigham Young University.
I received some fantastic experience in the LA area after graduation and went solo when I moved to this area in 2001. Last year, I was voted best interior designer in Roseville/Granite Bay Style magazine.

Having a degree and being a member of professional organizations is certainly a great start, but individuals hiring an interior designer want to have confidence that an interior designer is right for them specifically. Talking to previous clients and checking out web sites helps individuals to narrow down the field.
A. What look are you hoping to create in your environment? Go to a book store and spend some time looking at magazines. Look at pictures online. Discover what moves you before you hire the designer to make it a reality in your home.
