- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Well, I use to mow lawns as a young boy because I wanted this motor bike. I would go out and knock on doors around the neighborhood to gain business and to make money so I could buy the motor bike on my own. Also, my father influenced me and told me that if I worked hard and saved money I could do very well for myself. Plus, I have always loved the outdoors and this was one job that I could do and be outdoors anytime time of the year.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Basic lawn care service which includes: Mowing of turf areas edging of turf areas blowing off all paved areas I also do weed prevention - from hand pulling weeds to the use of weed killer. I also provide fertilization of all turf areas. I trim bushes, rose bushes, tree limbs, ect. I repair sprinkler systems and adjust timers. I do clean-ups, hauling, debris removal. I remove old bark and install new bark, plant flowers, ect. I have provided all of these services and continue to provide these services with the current and long time customers I have now.
