- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will first set up a trial lesson and schedule regular lessons afterwards.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from Berklee College of music with Master Certificate in music writing and producing. And Specialist certificate in Voice. 15 years of private classical and jazz piano training. 20 years of private piano teaching experience. 5 years of experience in teaching "Music for Young Children" group piano program. 5 years of experience in teaching "the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program"
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Starting at age of 18, I passed piano exam to teach at Yamaha and several piano studios in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2004 I moved to the State (Michigan). I then went through the teacher's training and started to teach "Music for Young Children" program along with giving private piano lessons in American Music Academy for a couple of years. In 2009, I moved to California with my family and started my own studio at home in Roseville, CA. I began then to teach the piano program of the Royal Conservatory and to help students preparing for and taking the Royal Conservatory Certificate program examinations.
