Survey findings and summary
After a two-month survey of over 6,000 small business owners nationwide, Thumbtack.com has released new data showing that small businesses felt Sacramento was unsupportive of their efforts. While several California cities ranked poorly, Sacramento was the very worst, earning F's in 9 different categories.
Some of the key findings for Sacramento include:
- Despite the city's low grades, its small business owners were only slightly below the national average for their optimism for their future prospects.
- High Sierra/Gold Country small businesses are California's second-healthiest economically.
