Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Besides regular maintenance such as oil changes and tune up's, we are SMOG inspection and repair station. We diagnose and repair failed smog vehicles. We also specialize in diagnostics on domestic and foreign vehicles, such as BMW, Volvo, VW, Land Rover and Mercedes-Benz. We perform transmission service, rebuilds and replacement. From basic tune-ups to major engine repair or replacement, we can do it all.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Many people don't understand the importance of regular maintenance of their vehicle. The secret to the longevity of their vehicle would be to do regular oil changes about every 3000 miles and regularly check all fluids. This is the best way to prevent costly repairs later.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We know how frustrating and inconvenient it is to have your vehicle in the shop. We work hard to complete your job in a timely manor and make sure that each job meets factory requirements. We also shop around to make sure we are getting the best prices on parts to keep your bill as manageable as possible. We also take the time to explain each repair necessary to keep your vehicle safe and drivable.

A. Meeting new people and getting know our community more. That way we know best how to serve them.

A. Many customers call to confirm our coupon deals. The coupon's are correct! We have excellent offers available, the coupon's clearly state the price and there are no hidden fees.

A. Prestige Auto Works has grown a lot since we took over this business. We really appreciate all our loyal customers and the referrals we receive. Each customer is an individual with a unique need that we do our best to meet.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Automotive service excellence comes with a background in excellent education and many years experience. Many technicians will specialize or tend to work on particular makes and models. Not all repair shops are equipped to perform all repairs on all makes and models. It's best to research your mechanic before performing major repairs. Now days it is convenient to look up business on Google, Yelp or many other sites to see genuine reviews and comments. It's important to be highly rated, be ASE certified and accredited by the BBB.

A. Our general labor rate is at $85 per hour. We take the time to estimate each job based on the specific vehicles information. We use OEM parts, unless otherwise requested. We have some basic service packages and set prices that include most vehicles - such as $24.95 for an oil change service or $25 for Smog inspection. Often we can use your diagnostic fee as credit towards your recommended repair. Call or stop by for an estimate for your vehicle and needs. We can print out an estimate for you or save your quote on the computer.
